Job summary

TeacherActive is seeking a confident Supply Teacher to join a large mainstream school in Nottingham. You will deliver pre-planned lessons across multiple year groups, maintain strong behaviour, and build relationships quickly with pupils and staff.

The role offers long-term potential with a view to permanence and a busy, collaborative environment. The ideal candidate holds QTS or is an early career teacher (ECT) with experience across year groups and within large schools or academy trusts.

Qualifications

The school is looking to appoint a Supply Teacher on a long-term basis, with the opportunity to become permanent. The successful Supply Teacher will deliver pre-planned lessons across different year groups, manage classroom behaviour and quickly establish positive relationships within a large school setting.

The successful Supply Teacher will have:

• QTS, with ECTs also welcome to apply
• Experience teaching across a range of year groups
• Experience working within large schools or academy trusts
• Strong classroom and behaviour management
• The ability to build relationships quickly
• An engaging, adaptable and professional approach
