Job summary

TeacherActive is seeking a confident Supply Teacher to cover Key Stage 2 / KS2 across a welcoming primary school in Ripley. You will deliver engaging lessons, follow existing planning and maintain high standards of classroom behaviour to support pupil progress.

The role starts from September 2026 on a day-to-day basis with a clear path to longer-term opportunities for the right candidate. QTS is required, ECTs welcome, and strong knowledge of the Primary National Curriculum is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience teaching within Key Stage 2 / KS2.
• Strong knowledge of the Primary National Curriculum.

The school is looking to appoint a Supply Teacher from September 2026, initially on a day-to-day basis with the opportunity to progress into a long-term role. The successful Supply Teacher will deliver lessons across Key Stage 2 / KS2, follow existing planning, manage classroom behaviour and ensure pupils remain engaged in their learning.

The successful Supply Teacher will have:

• QTS, with ECTs also welcome to apply
• Experience teaching within Key Stage 2 / KS2
• Strong knowledge of the Primary National Curriculum
