Job summary

Protocol Education are recruiting teaching assistants for a supportive primary special needs school in Lambeth, starting September 2026. You’ll support students on a one-to-one basis and within lessons, helping them access work through creative approaches.

Training is provided onsite, and enthusiasm for education and working with diverse needs is essential. Role is full time, Monday–Friday, with opportunities to contribute to activities like music, art and cooking, while following tailored

Qualifications

• Passion for working in education and with special needs.
• Willingness to follow tailored curriculum and assist in lessons.
• Ability to support students one-to-one and in class.
• Capacity to contribute to a range of activities such as music, art, cooking, numeracy & literacy.

Responsibilities

• Support students on a one-to-one basis and in designated class groups.
• Assist teachers in lessons and activities (e.g., music, art, cooking).
• Follow individualised plans and help students reach targets.
• Provide academic and social support to learners in a supportive environment.
