Job summary

Remedy Education seeks a Primary SEND Tutor in London to deliver high-quality, flexible education for primary-aged children with SEND, collaborating with families, schools and partner agencies to provide personalised learning and promote positive outcomes.

You will contribute to curriculum development, quality improvement and learner outcome evaluation, ensuring safeguarding and inclusion are central to practice.

Qualifications

• PGCE, QTS, Level 6 Diploma in Education and Training or equivalent.
• Experience teaching primary-aged children with SEND.
• Strong understanding of a range of SEND teaching strategies.
• Experience adapting the primary curriculum to meet individual learner needs.
• Ability to build effective relationships with children, families and professionals.
• Experience working collaboratively with schools and multi-agency partners.
• Strong communication, organisation and record-keeping skills.
• Commitment to safeguarding, inclusion and improving outcomes for children.

About the Role

Deliver high-quality, flexible education programmes for primary-aged children with SEND, working closely with children, families, schools and partner agencies to provide personalised learning that meets individual needs while promoting engagement, achievement and successful reintegration into education where appropriate. Contribute to curriculum development, quality improvement initiatives and the ongoing evaluation of learner outcomes.

• Experience working within Local Authority services
• Knowledge of EHCP processes and annual reviews
