Axcis Education is seeking a compassionate SEND Teaching Assistant to support autistic children in our primary provision. You will work in small class settings, helping with learning, communication and social development while implementing visual supports and structured routines.

The role focuses on independence, resilience and emotional wellbeing within a safe environment. DBS checks and safeguarding compliance are required, with a temporary, on-site position and referral incentives available.

Qualificações

• Experience in SEND education, care or support work is preferred.
• Ability to support pupils with autism and diverse learning needs.
• Strong communication and teamwork with staff and families.

Responsabilidades

• Support pupils with Autism and additional needs within small class settings.
• Assist with learning, communication, and social development.
• Implement visual supports, work systems, and structured routines.
• Support emotional regulation and positive behaviour strategies.
• Encourage independence and celebrate every achievement.
