Job summary

Woodside Primary School in London is seeking an experienced SEND Teaching Assistant to join a friendly, enthusiastic team. You will support pupils with special educational needs, particularly ASD, and help deliver tailored learning activities across the primary age range (3-11).

The role requires flexibility to work with whole class, small groups or individuals, strong teamwork and excellent communication with staff, pupils and parents. GCSE English and Maths at grade C or above are expected.

Qualifications

• Recent and relevant experience of working with ASD children across the primary age range (3–11 years).
• Flexibility and adaptability to work with whole class, small groups or individual children.
• Motivated with strong teamwork and ability to communicate with staff, pupils and parents.

Responsibilities

• Support learning activities and monitor pupil progress.
• Assist with safeguarding and behaviour management as required.
• Contribute to planning, assessing and providing feedback to pupils and teachers.
