Job summary

Protocol Education Limited is seeking a Primary SEND Teacher to join a small, supportive team. You will deliver personalised education to pupils with diverse needs, including autism, ADHD, and SEMH, in a setting with smaller class sizes to ensure a higher staff-to-pupil ratio.

You will work with EHCP pupils, collaborate with therapy professionals and parents, and contribute to achieving the best outcomes in a nurturing environment.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Experience working with primary-aged children with SEN, especially autism, ADHD, SEMH.
• Compassionate, patient and resilient approach to teaching.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Passionate about inclusive and supportive learning environments.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver tailored lessons for pupils with complex SEN.
• Implement trauma-informed behaviour management strategies.
• Collaborate with therapy professionals and other staff to support pupil development.
• Build strong relationships with pupils, parents and carers.
• Foster a safe, inclusive, and nurturing classroom environment.
