Job description

Full-Time Primary with Maths Lead responsibility SEND Primary Teacher

Start Date: September 2025

Pay: £230 - £250 per day

Location: Southampton

Full time from September 2025

Supply Desk are proud to support an SEND Primary school on the outskirts of Southampton. The school is currently looking for an experienced SEND teacher who can also lead Maths.

The school is a Thrive school using the curriculum to support children with ASC, ADHD, and SEMH needs.

About the School: The school is located outside Southampton with excellent access to forest ground settings. With an emphasis on PSHE and Thrive, children are given the opportunities to strengthen their self-awareness and ability to work with others as well as grow academically.

Job Description: This is a full-time senior position at the school where you will help support SIP and undertake the usual teacher responsibilities.

Requirements:

1. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
2. Good knowledge of progression in Maths.
3. Patience and a working knowledge of PRICE/Securicare/Team Teach behaviour management programs would be beneficial.
