A lovely small ASD school in Wandsworth is seeking SEN Teaching Assistants to support across KS1 & KS2. The role offers an opportunity to work in a positive and nurturing environment for children on the Autistic Spectrum, providing tailored support throughout the school day and ensuring high levels of health and safety. Candidates should have relevant experience and a nurturing approach.

The role would include:

• Supporting pupils throughout the school day
• Behaviour/learning support
• Holding 1:1 or small group sessions
• Aiding with the set up and set down of the classroom
• Maintaining high levels of health and safety with the pupils
• Aiding the teacher with the day to day running of the class

As a successful candidate you MUST have:

• SEN support experience whether through care work, paid work, placement, volunteering, or personal experience
• Availability Full Time - 8:30am-3:45pm Monday to Friday
• Experience using resources such as PECS, Makaton or TEACCH is highly desirable but not essential
• A positive and nurturing approach to support
