Job summary

Caldecote Primary School in Cambridge is seeking a part-time Learning Support role to help pupils understand learning tasks and develop confidence. You will work under the direction of class teachers, supporting individuals and small groups, and helping with resources and recording progress.

You will contribute to promoting positive behaviour, build supportive relationships with pupils, and assist during lunchtimes.

Qualifications

• Experience in supporting pupils under teacher direction.
• Ability to promote positive behaviour and inclusive participation.
• Good communication with pupils, parents and staff.
• Willingness to learn and work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned learning activities under the teacher's direction.
• Prepare learning resources and observe pupil progress.
• Provide feedback to teachers and maintain simple records.
• Support lunch-time supervision and school safeguarding commitments.
• Contribute to a safe, welcoming and inclusive learning environment.
