Are you passionate about supporting children’s learning and development? We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and supportive team at a school in Chelmsford.
Position: Teaching Assistant
Location: Chelmsford, Essex
Start Date: ASAP depending on vetting time
Hours: 8.30-15.30 (potentially more depending on the role)
As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students across a range of abilities and year groups. You’ll assist teachers in delivering engaging lessons, help manage classroom behaviour, and provide tailored support to ensure every child has the opportunity to succeed.
Experience working with children is desirable, but we also welcome applications from candidates with transferrable skills (e.g., youth work, coaching, care, customer service).
Must hold a Grade C/4 or above in GCSE Maths and English (or equivalent).
Must have a child-only enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service, or be willing to apply for one prior to starting.
Strong communication skills and a patient, positive attitude.
A genuine interest in education and helping young people reach their potential.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
