Job summary

Connex Education is recruiting a full-time Primary Teacher for a South Birmingham school. You will plan and deliver engaging lessons, establish routines, and create an inclusive environment that supports academic and personal growth.

Role requires QTS, previous primary experience, strong classroom management, and a willingness to undergo DBS checks. You will work collaboratively with staff, parents and support teams to help pupils achieve their potential and enjoy their learning.

Qualifications

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) confirming employability as a Teacher in England, Scotland & Wales.
  • Previous experience working in a Primary School setting.
  • DBS check via update service or willingness to obtain one through Connex Education.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned to national curriculum.
  • Assess pupil progress and adapt teaching to meet individual needs.
  • Establish positive classroom routines and an inclusive environment.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, parents and support staff to support learners.
  • Promote positive behaviour in line with school policies.

Job Title: Primary Teachers

Rate of pay: £750 – £900 P/W – Dependant on experience

About the role

As a full-time primary school teacher, you will play a key role in supporting pupils as they settle into the new academic year. You will plan and deliver engaging lessons, establish positive classroom routines, and create a safe, inclusive learning environment that supports both academic and personal development. The role involves assessing progress, adapting teaching to meet individual needs, and working collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and support staff to ensure all pupils achieve their potential. You will promote positive behaviour in line with school policies and contribute to a successful and rewarding experience for all learners.
