Axcis Education is seeking an enthusiastic Primary School Teacher to join a mainstream school in Manchester. This full-time position seeks a dedicated individual with experience in inclusive teaching and a passion for supporting pupils, particularly those with additional needs like ADHD and Autism. The role involves planning engaging lessons, collaborating with support staff, and contributing to the school community in a well-resourced environment.
Axcis Education are are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Primary School Teacher to join a mainstream school in Manchester. This is a full-time position, ideal for someone with a strong understanding of inclusive teaching and a real passion for supporting pupils with additional needs, including ADHD and Autism. We welcome applications from both experienced teachers and confident ECTs, particularly those who have worked with or have an interest in supporting pupils with SEND. About the Role You’ll be responsible for planning and delivering high-quality lessons that engage and challenge all learners. You’ll work closely with our SENDCo and support staff to ensure that pupils with additional needs can access learning and feel part of the classroom. Your class will include children with a range of abilities and needs, so the ability to adapt teaching and provide clear structure will be key. Building positive relationships with pupils and creating a calm, supportive classroom environment is essential. You’ll contribute to wider school life and take an active role in our collaborative, committed teaching team. What We’re Looking For A qualified teacher with QTS and experience in the primary phase (we’re open to all key stages). A good understanding of the needs of children with ADHD, Autism, or other additional needs in a mainstream setting. Someone with a patient, empathetic and practical approach to classroom management and pupil support. Strong communication and teamwork skills, and a willingness to learn and reflect. A clear understanding of safeguarding and a commitment to pupil wellbeing. SEND experience or training is a real bonus, but not essential.
