Job summary

Step Teachers is seeking Primary School Supply Teachers for flexible roles in Liskeard and surrounding areas, covering KS1 and KS2 with short-term and long-term opportunities.

You will deliver engaging lessons, maintain a positive classroom environment, and uphold safeguarding standards while adapting strategies for different learners across consecutive schools. QTS is required, and weekly PAYE payments apply.

Qualifications

Primary School Supply Teachers – Flexible short-term and long-term opportunities available immediately

These flexible opportunities are ideal for teachers who enjoy variety and want to make a positive impact across different primary school settings. You’ll be supporting schools in Liskeard and the surrounding areas, teaching Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 pupils.

Duties as a Supply Teacher:

• Deliver engaging lessons across the KS1 or KS2 curriculum following provided plans
• Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment
• Manage behaviour effectively in line with school policies
• Assess and record pupil progress where required
• Adapt teaching strategies to meet the needs of different learners
• Communicate effectively with staff and contribute to the wider school community

Ideal Supply Teacher:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Strong subject knowledge across the KS1 or KS2 curriculum
• Excellent classroom management skills
• Adaptable and confident working across different schools and year groups

• Ability to build positive relationships with students and staff
