Job summary

Sing Education in North Kensington is seeking a passionate musician with a degree in music to join our team and share the transformative power of music with the next generation.

You will teach singing-led, whole-class lessons for Nursery to Year 6 using Sing Education resources, lead choirs and after-school clubs, and work 5 days per week during term time.

The role offers a full-time salary within £24,867 to £32,542, with progression on the pay scale and paid training.

Qualifications

• University degree in music or a related field.
• Experience in classroom teaching or one-on-one instruction.
• Strong vocal skills and ability to lead lessons and assemblies.
• Excellent command of spoken and written English.
• Understanding of the National Curriculum for music.
• Proficient with ICT and use of online systems such as G Suite.
• Capable of conducting whole-class music lessons.
• Basic keyboard proficiency for classroom use.

Responsibilities

• Deliver singing-led whole-class music lessons for Nursery to Year 6 using Sing Education resources.
• Lead choirs, lunchtime and after-school clubs.
• Deliver 8:45am-3:30/4:30pm schedules during term time.
• Collaborate with Sing Education and school teams.
• Support the development of students' musical potential and confidence.
