The role offers permanent placement in Sing Education primary schools in Hackney, with teaching from 1 to 5 days per week and opportunities to lead choirs and lunchtime clubs.

Qualifications

• University degree in music or a related field.
• Strong vocal skills and the confidence to lead lessons and assemblies.
• Excellent command of spoken and written English.
• Capability to conduct whole-class music lessons.
• Basic keyboard proficiency for classroom use.
• Understanding of the National Curriculum for music.
• Proficient with ICT and able to use online systems such as G Suite.
• Experience in classroom teaching or one-on-one instruction.
• Previous work with children or young people in a teaching or leadership role.

Requirements

Qualifications

University graduate with a degree in music or a related field

Compensation

• Full-time Salary PA: £24,867 - £32,542 (for 5 days per week), based on a 5-point progressive pay scale.
  
• Staff progress up the pay scale with each 12 months of service following a successful managerial supervision meeting. Initial pay is dependent on
  
• classroom music experience and weekly hours + pension.
  
• 7 - 40 hours per week - 38 weeks per year + paid training.
