Job summary

Sing Education is seeking a university-educated musician to lead singing-led, whole-class music lessons for Nursery to Year 6, following Sing Education teaching resources. This full-time role involves teaching 5 days a week during term time, with additional duties including choirs and lunch clubs.

The successful candidate will have a music degree, strong vocal abilities, and fluency in English, plus basic keyboard skills and familiarity with the National Curriculum for music.

Qualifications

• University graduate with a degree in music or a related field.
• Strong vocal skills with the confidence to lead lessons and assemblies.
• Excellent command of spoken and written English.
• Capability to conduct whole-class music lessons.
• Basic keyboard proficiency for classroom use.
• Understanding of the National Curriculum for music.
• Proficient with ICT and able to use online systems such as G Suite.

Responsibilities

• Weekly teaching, full school day - 8.45am-3.30/4.30pm, term time.

Requirements

Qualifications

Compensation

• Full-time Salary PA: £24,867 - £32,542 (for 5 days per week), based on a 5-point progressive pay scale.
• Staff progress up the pay scale with each 12 months of service following a successful managerial supervision meeting. Initial pay is dependent on
• classroom music experience and weekly hours + pension.
• 7 - 40 hours per week - 38 weeks per year + paid training.
