Job summary

Protocol Education in Leeds LS7 is seeking a School Cleaner to join the site team. The role features split shifts (7:00–9:00 and 15:15–17:15), Monday to Friday during term time with additional cleaning days. DBS check required or willingness to obtain one.

Responsibilities include cleaning classrooms, corridors and toilets, plus maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety across the school environment.

School Cleaner (Primary School) LS7, Leeds Split Shift: 7:00am - 9:00am & 3:15pm - 5:15pm (Monday to Friday) Term Time + Additional Cleaning Days Competitive hourly rate

Are you reliable, hardworking and take pride in maintaining a clean and safe environment?

We are currently recruiting on behalf of a friendly and welcoming primary school in LS7 for a School Cleaner to join their site team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working independently and contributing to a positive learning environment for pupils and staff.

Duties will include:

• Cleaning classrooms, corridors and communal areas
• Vacuuming, sweeping and mopping floors
• Emptying bins and disposing of waste appropriately
• Cleaning toilets, washrooms and replenishing supplies
• Dusting and wiping down surfaces
• Ensuring high standards of cleanliness and hygiene are maintained throughout the school
• Following health and safety procedures at all times
• Securing designated areas where required

The ideal candidate will:

• Have previous cleaning experience (school cleaning experience desirable but not essential)
• Be reliable, punctual and trustworthy
• Have a strong attention to detail
• Be able to work independently and efficiently
• Be committed to maintaining a safe and clean environment for children and staff
