Job summary

Protocol Education Limited is seeking a reliable School Cleaner for a primary school in LS7, Leeds. The role features split shifts (7:00–9:00 and 15:15–17:15) Monday to Friday during term time, with potential additional cleaning days.

You will join a supportive school site team and contribute to a safe, clean environment for pupils and staff. The ideal candidate will have cleaning experience, reliability, punctuality and a keen eye for detail, enabling independent and efficient work to maintain

Qualifications

• Experience in cleaning; school cleaning desirable but not essential.
• Reliable, punctual and trustworthy.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Able to work independently and efficiently.
• Committed to a safe and clean environment for children and staff.

Responsibilities

• Clean classrooms, corridors and communal areas.
• Vacuum, sweep and mop floors.
• Empty bins and dispose of waste.
• Clean toilets, washrooms and replenish supplies.
• Dust and wipe surfaces.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the school.
• Follow health and safety procedures at all times.
• Secure designated areas where required.
