The Role

• Coordinate all site exports and transport requirements.
• Ensure all exports are managed according to site requirements.
• Document, maintain, and develop related processes to support business needs.
• Manage capacity and capability to meet business objectives.
• Ensure 100% service levels to customers.
• Maintain end-of-month transport reports.
• Develop methods to improve transport utilization with the planning team by monitoring costs related to receiving, storing, dispatching, and serving to maximize cost-effectiveness.
• Support daily planning of the boning hall & abattoir alongside the planning team.
• Assist with sales order processing, including creation and amendments of picking sheets.
• Cover for holidays and sickness within the team.
• Perform any additional duties reasonably requested by your manager.
• Attend regular team meetings and liaise with department staff.
• Comply with company policies, especially concerning health and safety.
• Work efficiently and effectively, adhering to best practices and personal development plans.

Knowledge/Expectations

• Highly developed knowledge of logistics best practices.
• Developed interpersonal, negotiating, and persuasive skills.
• Understanding of components and trade-offs in maintaining an efficient supply chain.
• Ability to interpret raw data and summarize it effectively in report format within a fast-paced environment.
