Job summary

Avanti is seeking a friendly Midday Supervisor to support primary students at Frome. You will supervise children at lunchtime, help maintain a safe, respectful environment, and engage pupils in positive activities. The role is part-time and pro-rata, reflecting 10 hours per week and a total annual salary around £6k.

The post requires a caring, proactive approach and commitment to safeguarding. School visits are welcome; DBS checks and references are part of the process.

Qualifications

• Supervise children during lunchtime on school premises.
• Ensure behaviour policy is followed in dining room and playground.
• Engage children to promote active, cooperative lunchtime activities.

Responsibilities

• Injuries or sickness dealt with according to school policy.
• Support safeguarding and welfare of all students.
