Job summary

The Arbours Primary Academy in Northampton is seeking a motivated Midday Supervisor to join our friendly team. You will help supervise children during lunchtime and playtime, ensuring a safe, positive environment and consistent behaviour.

As part of a committed staff, you will follow the school’s policies, report concerns to the headteacher, and support welfare during the midday break. The post offers a supportive working environment and opportunities to contribute to pupil wellbeing.

Responsibilities

• supervise pupils during the midday break and ensure safety and positive behaviour
• assist with dining hall entry organisation and table/bench setup and tidying
• enforce the school discipline/behaviour policy during lunch
• report incidents to the head-teacher or designated representative as needed
• monitor and refer health and welfare concerns to appropriate staff
• promote safeguarding of children and maintain confidentiality
