SANZA Teaching Agency is partnering with a welcoming primary school in Brent to recruit a committed Lunch Supervisor for a September start. The role requires supervising lunch sessions inside and outdoors, supporting pupils, and promoting safe, inclusive play during breaks.

DBS checked or willing to obtain one is required; the right to work in the UK is essential. Salary is £15.00 per hour, 11:15am–1:15pm, Monday–Friday (10 hours per week).

Qualifications

• Good spoken and written English.
• Enhanced DBS on Update Service or willing to obtain one.
• The right to work in the UK.

Responsabilités

• Supervising children during lunchtime, inside and outdoors.
• Encouraging positive behaviour and helping resolve minor disagreements.
• Supporting younger pupils during mealtimes as needed.
• Promoting safe and inclusive play during lunch breaks.
• Ensuring pupils are safe and well cared for during lunchtime.
• Administering basic first aid where appropriate and reporting incidents.
• Maintaining a calm, organized lunchtime environment.
• Following safeguarding, behaviour and health & safety procedures.

About the Role

• Supervising children during lunchtime, both inside the school and outdoors.
• Encouraging positive behaviour and helping pupils resolve minor disagreements.
• Supporting younger pupils during mealtimes where required.
• Promoting safe and inclusive play during lunch breaks.
• Ensuring pupils remain safe and well cared for throughout the lunchtime period.
• Administering basic first aid where appropriate and reporting any incidents.

• Following the school's safeguarding, behaviour and health and safety procedures.

• Passionate about supporting children's wellbeing and development.
• Previous experience within a school, nursery, childcare setting, holiday club, youth organisation or sports coaching environment would be beneficial but is not essential.

Qualifications and Experience

• Experience working with children is desirable.
• Good spoken and written English.
• An understanding of safeguarding and child protection.
• An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or be willing to obtain one.
• The right to work in the UK.
