Job summary

SANZA Teaching Agency is seeking a committed Lunch Supervisor for a Brent primary school. The role focuses on supervising lunchtime activities, ensuring safety, positive behaviour and inclusive play in both indoor and outdoor settings.

The ideal candidate enjoys working with children, communicates well with pupils and adults, and works as part of a caring school team. DBS check and eligibility to work in the UK are required.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children is desirable.
• Good spoken and written English.
• Understanding of safeguarding and child protection.
• Enhanced DBS check (or willing to obtain one).
• Right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Supervise pupils during lunchtime in the dining hall and playground.
• Encourage positive behaviour and help resolve minor disagreements.
• Support younger pupils during mealtimes as required.
• Promote safe and inclusive play during lunch breaks.
• Maintain a calm, welcoming lunchtime environment.
• Follow safeguarding, behaviour and health and safety procedures.
• Administer basic first aid where appropriate and report incidents.
