Job summary

Milk Education is seeking enthusiastic Learning Support Assistants to work across primary schools in South Manchester from September. The roles include one-to-one and small-group support, assisting teachers, and helping pupils with learning and needs in mainstream or SEND settings.

Opportunities vary in length and type: long-term/short-term, full-time/part-time, temporary or permanent. Level 2/3 TA qualifications are welcomed, with competitive daily rates and full compliance support.

Qualifications

• Previous experience with children or young people is desirable.
• Experience in a primary school or education setting is welcomed.
• Experience supporting SEND or additional needs is desirable.
• Level 2 or Level 3 TA qualifications are welcomed.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils with their learning and development.
• Provide one-to-one and small-group classroom support.
• Assist teachers with the delivery of engaging learning activities.
• Support pupils with additional learning needs where required.
• Promote positive behaviour and classroom engagement.
• Help create a safe, inclusive and encouraging learning environment.
• Build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
• Support pupils to develop confidence and independence.
