Job summary

Milk Education is seeking a dependable Learning Support Assistant for a primary school in Brentford. You will work alongside the class teacher to support pupils with learning and help maintain a positive classroom environment.

The role offers flexible days and hours, a quick registration process, and access to CPD resources through Milk Academy plus wellbeing and PSHE materials. You will be supported by a dedicated consultant throughout placement.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children preferred.
• Supportive, patient and practical approach.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to follow instructions and use initiative.
• Reliable and keen to make a positive difference.

Responsibilities

• Assist pupils with classwork and everyday learning activities.
• Provide targeted support to individuals and small groups.
• Help children develop confidence in reading, writing and maths.
• Encourage participation and positive classroom behaviour.
• Support pupils who require additional help with tasks or routines.
• Work collaboratively with teachers and other school staff.
