Job summary

ARK SCHOOLS is seeking two Individual Needs Assistants to support learning for primary-aged pupils. These fixed-term positions run for twelve months, with a minimum of 20 hours per week during term time. Start date is ASAP after interview, with a closing date of 31 August 2026 and interviews on 4 September 2026.

Salary details are provided below. Salary scale Ark Support (outside London) Point 3; full-time £24,795 per annum. Actual pro-rata £13.21 per hour (gross).

Qualifications

• Enthusiasm for working with primary aged children.
• Good literacy and mathematical skills.
• Understanding and knowledge of supporting children's learning.
• EYFS development knowledge is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Support learning of small groups and individual pupils.
• Assist with planning and delivery of learning activities.
• Contribute to a friendly, supportive classroom environment.
