Job summary

All Together Education Recruitment is assisting a welcoming primary school in the Thorpe area of Egham, Surrey, to recruit an experienced Upper KS2 Teacher for a January or February 2027 start. This full-time, permanent role focuses on Years 5 and 6 and SATs preparation.

The ideal candidate will hold UK QTS, have substantial Years 5/6 experience, strong management and curriculum leadership, and be committed to achieving excellent outcomes for every pupil within a supportive school team.

Qualifications

Upper KS2 Teacher - Years 5/6

Location: Thorpe, Egham, Surrey

Start date: January or February 2027

Contract: Full-time, permanent

Salary: MPS/UPS, dependent on experience

A welcoming primary school in the Thorpe area of Egham is seeking an experienced Upper KS2 Teacher to join its team from January or February.

The school is looking for a confident and enthusiastic teacher with strong experience across Years 5 and 6. The successful candidate will play an important role in supporting pupils through Upper Key Stage 2 and preparing them for their SATs.

The ideal candidate will:

• Hold UK QTS
• Have substantial experience teaching Years 5 and/or 6
• Have a strong understanding of KS2 SATs preparation
• Demonstrate excellent classroom and behaviour management
• Have experience leading a curriculum subject
• Deliver engaging lessons that support pupils of all abilities
• Work effectively as part of a supportive school team
• Be committed to achieving excellent outcomes for every pupil

This role would particularly suit an experienced Upper KS2 Teacher with approximately seven years' teaching experience who is ready to contribute to curriculum development and the wider life of the school.
