A well-regarded primary school in Houghton Regis is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic KS2 Class Teacher to join their team from September 2025. This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a dynamic and forward-thinking school that places pupil progress and staff development at the heart of its ethos.
The school are looking for a strong role model who can manage behaviour effectively using a number of different techniques. In order to be successful you will need to be able to build rapport quickly and set clear expectations from day one.
This role will see you:
Take responsibility for a Key Stage 2 class, delivering a broad and balanced curriculum
Foster a positive, respectful, and stimulating classroom environment
Use creative and adaptive strategies to support all learners, including those with additional needs
Contribute to whole-school initiatives and work collaboratively with colleagues and senior leaders
Use data effectively to inform planning and ensure progress for every pupil
We are looking for someone who:
Holds QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
Has recent teaching experience in Key Stage 2 (placements considered for ECTs)
Brings energy, commitment, and a reflective approach to their teaching
Communicates effectively with pupils, staff, and parents
Demonstrates high expectations for both learning and behaviour
