TeacherActive is working with a welcoming primary school in Huyton to appoint a dedicated HLTA for a long-term, full-time position. You will support pupils across the primary age range and deliver engaging lessons when the class teacher is absent.

Qualifications

• Previous HLTA or equivalent experience in a primary setting.
• Confidently lead whole-class lessons and small-group interventions.
• Strong classroom management and pupil wellbeing focus.

Responsibilities

• Lead whole-class learning sessions in the absence of the class teacher.
• Deliver targeted small-group interventions.
• Support pupils' learning, development and wellbeing.
• Build positive relationships with pupils, staff and parents.
