Job summary

All Saints CofE Primary School is seeking a highly motivated Higher Level Teaching Assistant to support children and work closely with our staff to nurture, target and enable all pupils to thrive. The role is for 2 days a week, term time only, with responsibilities including assisting the class teacher with 1:1 and small-group work and contributing to the overall learning environment.

Experience of supporting children is essential, with a positive attitude and a collaborative approach.

Qualifications

• Experience of supporting children in a primary school setting.
• Strong commitment to safeguarding and welfare of pupils.
• Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and SENCo.

Responsibilities

• Support the class teacher with 1:1 pupils or groups to raise attainment.
• Teach during PPA time and occasional cover when needed.
• Assist with observation and progress recording.
• Promote a calm, nurturing classroom environment and uphold policies.
