Primary Graduate Teaching Assistant - Birmingham

Position: Primary Graduate Teaching Assistant
Salary: £90 - £100 Per day
Duration: September 2025 until July 2026
School: Ofsted “Good” 2-Form Entry primary school, Birmingham

Responsibilities:

1. Providing academic support for Key Stage 1 & 2 pupils.
2. Working closely with teachers to support under-achieving pupils, raising attainment, and helping them to build their confidence.
3. Delivering small group interventions and working on a 1-2-1 basis, focusing on literacy and numeracy skills.
4. Supporting in lessons, monitoring pupil progress, and encouraging engagement in lessons.

This position is ideal for a graduate who is considering a career in teaching and looking to gain some hands-on experience. A strong academic background is essential as well as excellent communication skills, commitment to making a difference, and the ability to inspire a love for learning. Previous experience working with young learners is desirable but not essential.
