Job summary

TeacherActive is working with a specialist Primary EBD School in the Rhondda to recruit a Teacher on a temporary basis from September, continuing at least until Christmas. The role focuses on delivering engaging lessons to primary pupils with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties, using behaviour strategies and adaptable teaching methods to meet individual needs.

The successful candidate will hold QTS or PCET, have experience with EBD or challenging behaviour, and demonstrate strong classroom

Qualifications

• QTS or PCET with experience teaching in a primary setting.
• Experience working with children with EBD or pupils displaying challenging behaviour.
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
• Ability to build positive relationships with pupils, staff and parents.
• A patient, resilient and proactive approach to supporting young people.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging lessons to primary pupils with EBD.
