Job summary

Supply Staff Ltd is seeking experienced and reliable Primary Cover Teachers to work across primary schools in Croydon. As a Primary Cover Teacher, you will provide day-to-day and short-term classroom cover, including sickness cover and last-minute staff absence.

You will be expected to confidently manage a classroom, follow existing lesson plans and ensure pupils remain engaged and well behaved. Strong classroom and behaviour management skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Strong previous experience working with children in a school or educational setting.
• Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills.
• Confident working independently and taking responsibility for a classroom.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience supporting pupils with SEN or additional needs would be ideal.
• QTS or teaching qualifications or other relevant education experience would be an advantage but are not essential.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply.
• Commitment to safeguarding and child protection.

• Cover lessons on a day-to-day or short-term basis, including sickness cover.
