Job summary

GSL Education Leicester are currently recruiting a Primary Cover Supervisor to work across a range of primary schools in Leicester and Leicestershire. You will deliver pre-planned lessons across EYFS, KS1, and KS2, manage classroom behaviour and support pupils to stay engaged throughout the day.

This role offers flexibility with full-time, part-time or long-term placements, and a competitive daily pay rate of £100–£130, with access to CPD and referral bonuses.

Qualifications

• Hold a degree or Level 3 qualification.
• Experience working with children or young people.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• Be confident leading classes independently and following lesson plans.
• Able to adapt to different year groups, learning styles and needs.
• Flexible, proactive and committed to pupil progress and wellbeing.

Responsibilities

• Deliver pre-planned lessons across EYFS, KS1 and KS2.
• Manage classroom behaviour effectively.
• Support pupils to remain engaged and motivated throughout the day.
• Provide safeguarding and wellbeing support as needed.
• Work across multiple schools within Leicester and Leicestershire.
