In this role, you will play a vital part in maintaining consistency and high-quality learning in the absence of the class teacher. You will be responsible for supervising whole classes, delivering pre-set work, and ensuring that pupils remain engaged, motivated, and on task.

Key Responsibilities

• Delivering pre-prepared lesson materials to classes across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2
• Managing classroom behaviour effectively, maintaining a positive and supportive learning environment
• Communicating clearly and confidently with pupils and staff members
• Adapting quickly to different subjects, year groups, and classroom needs
• Supporting the school’s ethos by helping inspire curiosity and a love of learning
