Aspire People is seeking a Complex Needs Teaching Assistant to support pupils with complex needs in primary schools across Manchester and surrounding areas.

You will provide 1:1 and small-group support for pupils with ASD, communication and sensory needs, following individual plans and assisting classroom access. Immediate opportunities exist with full-time or regular part-time roles.

Formación

• Has relevant experience supporting pupils with complex needs.
• Has recent experience working within a UK primary school.
• Is confident providing individualised support.
• Has a calm, patient and nurturing approach.
• Can build positive relationships with pupils.

Responsabilidades

• Providing 1:1 and small-group support for pupils with complex needs.
• Supporting pupils with ASD, communication needs, sensory needs and learning difficulties.
• Helping pupils access classroom learning and differentiated activities.
• Supporting personal care where required.
• Following individual support plans and guidance from the school.
• Supporting emotional regulation, routines and transitions.
• Encouraging independence, engagement and social development.
• Working closely with teachers, SENCOs and other support staff.
