Job summary

ANZUK Education is seeking KS1/KS2 teachers in Kingston upon Thames for short and long-term cover across the primary phases. You will deliver engaging lessons across KS1 and KS2 and support pupils to achieve strong academic progress within a well-structured and supportive environment.

This role suits experienced teachers, ECTs, or practitioners looking to broaden experience across primary Key Stages, with opportunities for professional development within a welcoming community.

Qualifications

  • QTS is a non-negotiable requirement.
  • Experience or readiness to teach across KS1 and KS2 (ECTs welcome).
  • Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum is essential.
  • Maintain high expectations for pupil progress, attainment and behaviour.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
  • Able to work collaboratively with colleagues and families.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality lessons in line with the National Curriculum.

About the role

ANZUK Education is working with a number of primary schools in Kingston seeking KS1 & KS2 Teachers to support them with short and long term cover. This position offers the opportunity to deliver engaging lessons across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, supporting pupils to achieve strong academic progress within a well‑structured and supportive environment.

This KS1 & KS2 Teacher role in Kingston would suit experienced teachers, ECTs, or Upper and Lower Key Stage practitioners looking to develop their experience across the primary phases.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high‑quality lessons in line with the National Curriculum.
  • Adapt teaching to meet the needs of pupils across KS1 and KS2.
  • Maintain high expectations for pupil progress, attainment and behaviour.
  • Support pupils’ social, emotional and personal development.
  • Complete any marking for lessons taken on the day.
Ideal Candidate
  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) (non‑negotiable).
  • Be a confident ECT or experienced teacher across KS1 and/or KS2.
  • Demonstrate strong knowledge of the National Curriculum.
  • Maintain high expectations for pupil progress, attainment and behaviour.
  • Show a clear commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
  • Work collaboratively within a team and communicate effectively with colleagues and families.
