Job summary

Shireland Collegiate Academy Trust is seeking a dedicated Class Teacher to join our primary school team on a fixed-term contract until 31 August 2028, with start as soon as possible. You will contribute to delivering high quality teaching and safeguarding in line with statutory guidance, and support the Principal, SLT and Trustees to realise the trust’s vision and ethos across our West Midlands academies.

Qualifications

Candidate must meet the teacher standards as outlined in the School Teacher's Pay and Conditions Document.
Ability to prepare and deliver a weekly timetable of lessons matched to pupil ability.
Commitment to safeguarding and the wellbeing of children.

Responsibilities

Identify educational aims and develop medium and short-term plans for the class.
Prepare and teach a weekly timetable of lessons and activities matched to the age and abilities of every pupil.
Ensure classroom practice supports all school and Trust policies.
Deliver the curriculum in an engaging and stimulating way to aid progression of knowledge and skills.
Maintain safeguarding practices and use data to drive improvements in pupil outcomes.
