Job summary

The Vale Medical Practice in the United Kingdom is seeking a dedicated Pharmacy Technician to join our expanding multidisciplinary team. This full-time role (37.5 hours) sits at both Wootton and Shortstown sites, reporting to the senior clinical pharmacist and senior clinical pharmacy technician.

Qualifications

• Registered Pharmacy Technician with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
• BTEC/NVQ Level 3 in Pharmaceutical Science or recognised equivalent.
• Completion of the CPPE Primary Care Pharmacy Education Pathway.
• Evidence of ongoing CPD.

Responsibilities

• Medicines reconciliation for patients.
• Management of repeat prescribing systems.
• Medicines safety monitoring and auditing.
• Responding to medication-related queries from staff and patients.
• Audit and quality improvement work.
• Support national and local prescribing initiatives.
