Job description

About The Role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Pharmacy Technician to join our Pharmacy Team at HMP Altcourse, a Category B prison located in the Fazakerley area of Liverpool. Within this role, you’ll be an integral part of the healthcare team, involved in developing and leading clinics, undertaking examinations and tests, answering emergency bells, and potentially being the first responder to emergencies. You will work within a multi-disciplinary team to deliver a nurse-led service and help prevent hospital admissions.

Salary: This position is full-time, with an annual salary of up to £38,115 per annum, depending on experience.

Hours: This is a full-time role working 37.5 hours per week. You will work on a rota basis covering weekends and nights as required to cover staff leave and sickness.
