Rochdale Health Alliance is seeking a qualified Pharmacy Technician to join the community-based services. You will work with GP practice staff and the PCN multi-disciplinary team to optimise medicines, support prescribing processes and promote eRD and EPS use.

You will ensure safe medicine handling, participate in medicines reconciliation, and contribute to reducing wastage while supporting patient care across community settings.

Qualificações

• Understanding of data protection and confidentiality.
• Proficient in MS Office packages.

Responsabilidades

• Work with GP practice staff as part of the team to carry out medicines-related activities.
• Support medicines optimisation and reviews, including medicines reconciliation.
• Assist in developing repeat prescribing processes and SOPs to improve efficiency.
• Help promote electronic repeat dispensing (eRD) and online ordering, reducing wastage.
• Support antimicrobial stewardship initiatives and safe prescribing practices.
• Provide training on safe handling of medicines and EPS/eRD implementation.
