Concord Medical Centre in Bristol seeks a detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to support Clinical Pharmacy in General Practice. You will work with the lead pharmacist and multi-disciplinary colleagues to optimise medicines use, conduct reconciliations, and participate in quality improvement initiatives.

The role focuses on medicines optimisation, patient education, and safe, accurate prescription processing, with a strong emphasis on collaborative care within the GP practice.

Qualifikationen

Experience as a pharmacy technician in general practice.
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
Ability to support medicines reconciliation and reviews.

Aufgaben

Conduct medication reviews and medicines reconciliation to ensure accuracy and identify potential issues.
Provide patient education and counselling on medication use and inhaler technique.
Support adherence initiatives and reminder systems.
Participate in medication review clinics and patient-centred activities.
Assist in achieving QOF targets.
Provide training to prescription clerks and staff.
Process prescriptions accurately and efficiently.
Contribute to continuous improvement of pharmacy services.
