An opportunity has arisen in the Primary Care Pharmacy Team (Inverness) for a dynamic, enthusiastic, and self-motivated Pharmacy Technician. This role supports the delivery of primary care clinical pharmacy services within an established team responsible for medicines management across various primary care settings.
The role involves collaborating with GPs and multidisciplinary teams to enhance medicines management and patient care. It includes delivering the Pharmacotherapy service under the GP contract and supporting patients with their medicines.
NHS Highland pharmacy teams are committed to innovation and professional development, offering opportunities for further training and education as the service evolves.
Candidates should have excellent communication, negotiation, organisational, and IT skills, with the ability to influence change. A relevant pharmacy qualification and registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council are required.
Travel within the Inverness area is necessary; hence, a full, current driving license and personal vehicle are essential.
