Job summary

HMP Thorn Cross in Warrington is seeking a Primary Care Clinical Lead to provide strong clinical leadership, confidently manage staff, and ensure governance, patient safety and quality improvement within the Primary Care Team.

You will lead a team of seven with a 70% managerial and 30% clinical leadership split, alongside another Primary Care Clinical Lead, and undertake one day per week of clinical practice on-site.

Qualifications

• Strong clinical leadership and staff management.
• Knowledge of clinical governance and patient safety.
• Understanding of PSIRF advantageous.
• Experience in quality improvement.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Primary Care Clinical Lead to join our Primary Care Team at HMP Thorn Cross HMP Thorn Cross is a Category D / open prison in Appleton Thorn, Warrington, housing around 430 males As a Primary Care Clinical Lead, you will provide strong clinical leadership, confidently manage staff, and have a good understanding of clinical governance, patient safety and quality improvement. Knowledge of PSIRF would be advantageous. You will manage a team of 7, with a 70% managerial and 30% clinical leadership split. You will work alongside another Primary Care Clinical Lead and undertake one day per week of clinical practice. HMP Thorn Cross offers:

• Salary This position is full time, youll receive an, annual salary of between £51,643 - £58,012
