Job summary

NHS Scotland is recruiting for a part-time Advanced Physiotherapy Practitioner based in NHS Highland's First Contact Physiotherapy service, to cover maternity leave. The role involves working in primary care alongside GPs and other professionals in rural general practice, across Fort William and Lochaber.

Applicants should demonstrate advanced clinical knowledge and MSK expertise; injection skills and prescribing are part of the role, with potential to complete prescribing qualification.

Qualifications

• Advanced clinical knowledge and expertise in the assessment, diagnosis and treatment of MSK conditions.
• Injection skills and prescribing are part of this role.
• Job share and part time applications will be considered.
• A full current driving licence and use of car for work purposes is essential.

Responsibilities

• Work alongside GP’s and other professionals in rural general practice.
• Be based in practices across Fort William in Lochaber with links to the Lochaber Physiotherapy Team.
• Join NHS Highland First Contact and mainstream Physiotherapy Team.
