Primary Academic Coach

Ward of Ladywood | £80–£100 per day | September 2025 – July 2026

Are you a graduate looking to gain school-based experience before applying for teacher training in 2026?

A ‘Good’-rated 2-Form Entry primary school in the Ward of Ladywood is seeking a full-time Primary Academic Coach to support Key Stage 2 pupils from September 2025 to July 2026. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your classroom skills and make a meaningful difference to children’s progress.

About the role:
  • Provide 1:1 and small group academic interventions across KS2
  • Support with planning and differentiation
  • Help manage behaviour and engage pupils in learning
  • Work closely with class teachers to identify and support pupils’ needs

What we’re looking for:
  • A graduate with a strong interest in education
  • Previous experience working with children or young people (voluntary or paid)
  • Confident communicator with a positive, proactive attitude
  • Committed to making a difference in the classroom
  • Interested in pursuing a PGCE or teacher training in the future
