Job summary

Tamworth Borough Council is seeking a Pride in Place Coordinator to lead delivery across Glascote Heath, Stonydelph and Tamworth. You will coordinate capital and revenue projects, engage communities and support governance and reporting.

The role requires strong organisational skills, delivery experience in regeneration or local government, and the ability to work across partners. Hybrid working and evening events are expected.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating projects or programmes, ideally within local government, regeneration or community settings.
• Experience of project management and programme delivery, including capital projects.
• Knowledge of grant-funded programmes, governance arrangements and compliance requirements.
• Strong organisational and planning skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and partnership-working skills.
• Confidence in analysing information and presenting reports to a variety of audiences.
• Good IT skills including Microsoft Office, Excel and associated reporting tools.
• A proactive and solution-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the delivery of capital and revenue projects across the Pride in Place programme.
• Organise and support community engagement events, workshops and consultations.
• Build effective relationships with residents, community groups, businesses, partner organisations and contractors.
• Maintain programme plans, action trackers, risk registers and performance dashboards.
• Monitor progress against agreed outcomes and funding requirements.
• Prepare reports and briefings for the Neighbourhood Board, senior leaders and elected members.
• Support budget monitoring and expenditure reporting.
• Ensure compliance with governance, assurance and grant funding requirements.
• Collect and analyse information to demonstrate programme impact and support evaluation activities.
• Identify delivery risks and work with partners to develop practical solutions.
