Job summary

AXA Health is seeking a Pricing Underwriter to join the Commercial department on a 12-month fixed-term contract. You will set prices and manage a portfolio of large corporate PMI renewals, negotiating terms and tracking performance to support overall Large Corporate results.

You will work in a hybrid arrangement, spending time in the office and with field coordination, while collaborating with the sales team to attract new business opportunities.

Qualifications

• Demonstrable understanding of risk elements and performance metrics for corporate clients.
• Strong logical thinking with a keen eye for detail to ensure accuracy.
• Exceptional self-organisation to manage tasks and portfolio workloads.
• Strong Excel and mathematical skills to support pricing and analysis.
• Ability to manage a portfolio and collaborate with sales and stakeholders.
• Familiarity with PMI market and broader business landscape is desirable.
• Effective communication to build relationships with sales colleagues and stakeholders.
• Desire to thrive in high-pressure situations involving negotiation with clients.

Responsibilities

• Price new business and renewals for large corporate PMI accounts.
• Provide technical pricing support and justify terms to aid negotiations.
• Engage in diverse projects beyond large corporate sector to grow impact.
• Support training with Pricing Manager and assist in pricing training of sales colleagues.
• Monitor portfolio performance and its contribution to overall Large Corporate results.
