Job summary

RBC is seeking a senior data and pricing operations leader to oversee daily pricing and reference data for bonds, derivatives, equities, and loans across multiple platforms. The role focuses on bringing together Senior Data Analysts and Data Analysts across London and Stamford into a cohesive team with strong governance, clear priorities, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

Experience in asset management, including at least 2 years in reference data, or middle-office operations.
Proven people-management experience, building team cohesion, coaching, performance management, and team development across multiple locations.
Strong Excel skills and data analysis capabilities.
Working proficiency in Python and SQL for analysis and process automation.
Practical experience using generative AI to drive efficiency.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

Bring the team together: build a connected, two-location team with shared norms and purpose.
Own pricing and reference data operations across major data platforms and systems.
Monitor, resolve and escalate pricing and reference data issues; maintain data quality standards.
Lead process improvement, automation, and risk reduction using Python, SQL and AI.
Manage stakeholders across Investment Desks, Operations, Client Reporting, Risk/Attribution, IT Development.
